El Portil, Huelva in southern Spain is in a great location. If you´re trying to figure out how to get to El Portil here´s a few different options. If you´re coming from Punta Umbria, Huelva the capital is only 30 minutes away. To arrive to this town in Andalusia, Spain will have to come by car or bus. In El Portil there is no train station or airport, as well and the towns of Punta Umbria and Cartaya.

By Highway

The A-497 is the road that connects Punta Umbria with Huelva the city. From this highway you´ll have great access to El Portil. Other highways that will bring you to Huelva in Andalusia Spain is the Nacional 435 that unites with the road of Extremadura, the N-431 and the A-49 from which you can come from Portugal or Seville.

By Train

To arrive by train in El Portil is an option. You´ll have to go to the Seville train station from any point in Spain or Europe. From there if you do not have a direct train head to Huelva. Once in Huelva you can take a bus that will take you to El Portil.

By Airplane

If you´re coming by airplane, you must take a flight to the international airport of Far in the portugese Algarve, or the Seville international airport. From both airports you´ll have to take a train or bus to Huelva capital, and from there a bus to El Portil.

Both in Faro and Seville airports you´ll also have the possibility to rent a car and travel on your own time. The Faro airport is just 90 kilometers away. The Seville is 100 kilometers away.

There is a canoe service that joins Punta Umbria with the capital, Huelva.
